Hi @B.ga
Thanks for your question. I have moved your query to this post as you may find some relevant information about other community membersā experiences with immigration.
I donāt have the exact information of which countries grant visas regardless of Hep B status. However, if you have a particular country in mind, you may discuss your query in this post or the āRegion Specific Supportā section.
Also, have a look at Immigration and International Issues Ā» Hepatitis B Foundation for more information on this matter.
I hope this helps,
Sumaya

All the best,

Its dream and what we pray for everyday to find a cure to this HBV. How my Visa was denied after securing a Job in Saudia Arabia last year 2024, little did i know i will be denied visa for testing Positive for Hepatitis. Just recently again in this year 2025 i was denied another work Visa to Travel to Kuwait after failing medical for living with HBV. This experience was depressing, it was later i found out majority of the countries in middle east rejects giving visas to people living with HBV. I never bother to apply for another one at UAE Dubai because i knew they will deny me visa, so no need wasting my resources. I find this disease as a curse inside me.
I am job hunting but the morale is low.
You should try UAE. Visa rules are better than other Middle East countries
hep b test is required only for following 5 categories of jobs
- Workers in nurseries
- Domestic workers including housemaids, nannies and drivers
- Food handlers and workers in restaurants and cafes
- Workers in saloons and beauty centres
- Workers in health clubs
If your job is in above categories , unfortunately they wonāt issue a Visa. But if you are working in other categories then you should be good
Thanks for this, what about security guard or safety officer?
I am not an expert in immigration, but I would say you wonāt fall in those 5 categories and may be eligible for UAE visa. Please speak to a immigration consultant. Wish you all the best!
