Rebound of HBsAg

There is really no such thing as “HBsAg negative”. Rather there is “HBsAg undetectable”. HBsAg loss is defined as either a “negative result” on a qualitative assay" or < 0.05 IU/mL on a quantitative assay.

So you do not have HBsAg loss yet. For anti-HBs seroconversion to be considered “positive”, the value has to be > 10 mIU/mL. Keep it up, it may happen yet.
