Dear @jdd1982,

This indicates that your immune system has reacted so some extent to the virus and is clearing virus infected liver cells. Undetectable HBV DNA is a great sign and is associated with lower disease progression.

Does this test result lean toward a resolving infection, or inactive carrier state?

This is hard to say from a single time point and without a HBsAg test.
