New paper: Diversity and inclusion in chronic hepatitis B randomised controlled trials

Hello everyone,

I am excited to share my first publication with you! It was previously showcased in this forum HepBcommunity research showcase. Thank you for your constructive comments!

In this study, we reviewed global clinical trials for HepatitisB to find out who’s in and who’s left out. Our results revealed underrepresentation of people in Africa & women & older adults & children, diminishing clinical evidence for treatment delivery to these populations, and thus limiting their access.

To advance global health equity and justice, we call for greater diversity & inclusion in clinical research, with fewer demographic-based exclusions to ensure clinical evidence applies to all affected populations.
