Pale grey stool

Hi,

So I have been on truvada because there was no tdf/taf only, for 2 months, I am chb, viral load was high so had to start medication.
Is it normal side effect to have pale grey stool sometimes not always, when starting treatment ?
It seems before taking any meds I did not have pale grey stool.

Hi,
As far as I know that’s not normal and a call or visit to your doctor would be your safest bet, barring any advice from medical/scientists on this site .
Best to address changes like this than leave them alone .

Agree with Denny’s point of discussing with your doctor. I don’t think this is a common effect of the antivirals themselves, and it may be worth considering if other changes you’ve made to your diet or lifestyle may be driving this effect.
