We have our virtual meet coming up in November 2024.
The virtual meets are a great way to discuss topics of your concern or even express your opinions.
It would be wonderful to have our forum members participate in this meet as many members before have benefited.
Therefore, vote on the doodle poll for your desired dates so I may create a Zoom meeting with a suitable date. Remember to put in your HepBcommunity.org username as your name in the doodle poll as only those who have voted on the doodle will be registered to join the virtual meet.

The November Virtual Meet will take place on 2024-11-06T23:00:00Z and will be led by @ThomasTu. This is a great opportunity for any of you to ask questions or state your opinion in real-time.

It was disappointing that we didn’t have anyone from the affected community come to this meetup. We run these sessions as a way to build connections and discuss in a casual space about how to best navigate our lives.
It also provides opportunities for everyone to talk to health and clinical experts in the field, people who volunteer time out of their very busy days to be available to you.
Please make the effort to attend these meetings, particularly if they have been scheduled specifically for you.
We’d love to keep offering these sessions because I remember when I was first diagnosed, I felt completely alone. For me, a chance to talk to someone who had gone through the same thing would have saved me a lot of anxiety. I’m hoping that these sessions could be the same for others. However, we will have to reconsider if they continue to not be well attended.
Appreciate your efforts for doing this and making sure our voices are heard.
I did apply to join it but due to TimeZone differences I was not able to join as for me it was 4:30 Am (IST) in the morning which I tried to be up for but I slept in between sometime and missed it.
I’d love to join it if we can make it a little earlier or later in the morning 6-7 am or 1-2 am that shall work

I’m sorry for missing to see this virtual meeting on time. As a patient I would love to join the call with the experts if I’m aware of it earlier.
Probably next time an email could be sent out to all members about this kind of events?
Also more registration time could be allowed, eg, one month notice before the meeting so that more people could see it?
No problem, @lbluestocking. We generally advertise them at least a month in advance and ask for people to denote the best time that works for them through a poll.
We’ll always choose the time that the most people can make, so it’s important to show up when you say you can because other people can miss out because of this rule.
